For any product, go through the product description to understand its utility, specifications, and system requirements. The instructions for download and installation would be included. Be sure to review the license agreement of the product you download.

No. We do not charge the users for our services. However, our directory lists both free and paid products and to download some products, you might need to make a payment to the vendor/ developer.

To ensure that you have complete information on the product that you download, we require the developers to include complete information on the product in the product description. You need to go through the product specifications given in this description to check the operating system requirements, space requirements, etc.

Demos and free-trial versions are again free software, however there are certain limitations associated with these, when compared to the full-versions of these software. The demos and free-trial versions are usually intended to give users the ability to try a product and make a better judgment before going ahead and actually purchasing it.

Demos usually have limited functionality with part of the features disabled, compared to the full-version. By using the demo you get an idea about the product and you can then opt to buy the full version, which may be available online for download or would need to be purchased from retail stores.

Trial-versions usually allow you to download the software and try it within limitations of a trial period. Once the trial period ends, you can register and pay for subsequent use.

Adware are the “ad-supported” software. As the name indicates, the developers of such software make their money by selling ads instead of charging you, the user for the software. Therefore adware, also called spyware, are usually available for download for free. When you run the program, the advertisements contained in the software are delivered to your PC. On one hand, you benefit by getting a free software, however on the other hand, you might find it annoying to get these ads. There is also the issue of privacy since adware collects information about your online behavior and forwards it to the advertiser.

To make sure that you, the user, know exactly what you are getting, we require the developers to include complete information on the product, including details on the components bundled with the software, in the Product description. You should also check the license agreement for the software that you download.

If you click on a link and get a "page not found" error, it might be because of a broken or removed link. Please let us know by filling in the Contact form, and we will correct the problem.

In other cases, you might be having trouble if you are behind a firewall. You would need to check with your network administrator to resolve the problem in that case.

If there is any suspicion that a product has virus, we immediately remove it from the list till the developer provides a new decontaminated program file. I case you suspect or detect virus in a product, please contact us immediately.

We require all developers to include Uninstall capabilities with the software that they offer on our site.
